I'm done with my discussion board contribution on econometrics. We were suppose to set a clear distinction between data-mining, statistics and econometrics. After being in the degree program for 3 years, I have come to realised that we can only at best employ the use of a particular model base on how well it can generalise the whole population.

We all know we are all different, a la survival of the fittest. Some characteristics of ours are the same but never do we have entirely similar thinking and behaviors. At best, we can only predict base on past or other's experiences when making a decision but never will it be a complete view of how each decision is made, a thinking is thought and eventually determining the output (the behavior).

Right now, I can't really be arsed about how some things happen anymore. Gonna just 'keep my eyes on my own paper'. There are a 1001 things that contribute to a single event or it can just be totally random.

Most importantly, I work for what I want from any situation that is thrown at me.
